We love audiobooks
We combined our interest in books and our passion for audio post-production to create Transient Audio. Producers always have fires to put out, so we wanted to ensure that post-production was a smooth, pain-free process akin to dropping off a package. We created a step-by-step process for engineers to follow to ensure that any audiobook program that comes through can sound as good as possible in less time, with consistency from engineer to engineer. SERVICES
Editing
We edit punch-records and roll-records to provided specs. We remove bad takes, noisy breaths, and other undesirable sounds in between, with a focus on narrative pacing.
Mastering
We process the audiobook narrator to sound crisp, clear, and professional. We remove background noise, mouth clicks, and bring up the entire program to desired loudness specifications.
Quality Control
Our Quality Control engineers go through your book to ensure that it is free of error and notate them for correction.
Sound Design
We'll create, layer, and mix creative FX to accompany the narration in your audiobook.
Directing
We direct your book in person or over the internet to make sure the narrator is consistently pronouncing words, using consistent voices, and reading accurate information.
